Hi! I’m Kaci Li, a sophomore in the Bergen County Academies and the founder of this organization. I’m currently part of a medical program where I study science, conduct research, and volunteer in hospitals to gain real-world experience. But through all of that, one issue keeps standing out: how difficult it is for patients, especially immigrants, to navigate the U.S. healthcare system. I’ve seen families shocked by the cost of a simple visit and overwhelmed by the confusion of policies, processes and paperwork.
This is personal to me. My parents immigrated from Asia and struggled for years to understand how to access quality healthcare while managing their finances. Now, with the rising cost of living and increasing complexity, that struggle has only gotten worse for many families. I founded this organization to bridge that gap by providing guidance, support, and resources to people who need help understanding and accessing healthcare. I’m so excited to build something that can make a difference.
